We filled all the cracks...my guesstimation a few hundred linear feet. An epoxy broadcast was done prior to TF to give us a more uniform surface to deal with. This is a floating slab, so it is near certain it will have hairline cracks develop. I don't think it will detract from the look however.
Three coats of TF, then stained with US palomino and light chocolate. Sealed with epoxy. |

This project won the Interior category of Concrete Decor's 2008 Concrete Restoration Contest.
The Abstract Legend grows. Congrats boys. No mention of the material rep who sold job, did samples, and provided the great material you used...but to be fair, you didn't mention any of your names either. So consider it mentioned. Also, since you guys are too modest: nominallay reliable to solid labor provided by Gus, Ballsly and his helper, Jorge and his helpers. The brothers Jones provided great grinding and vac rental services. None of it is possible without the modern day overlay rockstars / icons themselves: Denny Yurcornhole: the guy that makes it all happen, and Pork Chop Matrixtech: the guy that makes sure Denny makes it all happen in a way that renders quick payment. Special thanks to Freestone and his quick shipping staff of pros in Valpo, R&L Freight for the fine transport services, the many fine restaurants in Greek town and lower Woodward area, Keo Construction - you couldn't ask for a better customer, and the upstanding City of Detroit parking meter agents that overlooked exipred meters of Abstract work vehicles...at least once. |

Be mindful I submitted the project pictures and they copied the text off our website, and asked for no further input. Didn't even know we won until my
copy showed up in the mailbox.
So maybe modest, but it aint a bad thing. I just use the least amount of words to get my point across, unlike my ec distributor whom often uses the most. And us contractors aren't always cognizant of the supplier/distributor politics, we just aim to give the customer the best damn floor we are capable of....within budget of course. Thats what they care about. And the meter maid.....can eat my shorts. |

on this job we used TK 9030 as EC did not have a micro-doweling quick set out yet. Now I wouldn't fathom even considering for a nano second ever using any
other material than elite crete material. ECS Quick Crack Repair Filler chief. I use it.
