thanks...I was afraid someone wanted the coloring info...
well I used 2 oz. Charcoal to 1 G of USC and 1:1 with water as the main coloring and I had about 8 different accents mixed in small pump spray bottles to add the accent coloring. They all are concentrated color/USC low water content in shades of light and dark chocolate, Medium Desert beige, Coral, terra cotta, Palomino and even a little Forrest Green in there. The Coral gave the stone a liver/shale color that looks awesome and probably couldn't get the same again if I tried. This was an enclosed porch which helped. I didn't have fast drying, so the colors seperated nicely. I went over a second time on a few to make some darker. The picture just doesn't capture the colors the way they are...This is my fav. job so far. |
