Well, job was originally to do the garage in hydrastone leather tan and saddlebag brown on steps. Then they saw the brick mortar coats on the patio, so they thought they wanted red in the garage. OK, $400 more to change to dark red HS. Cleaned garage, stained at 1:1 HS to reducer over hard trowelled surface. Tryed spraying, but it left "spots" in the stain. Ended up applying with a rag. Worked good, looked good...CUSTOMER HATED IT! Wanted more of a solid color, not translucent at all, very even. OK? Never sealed the HS, so we cleaned again, acid & nuetralize, wash again. (About 50% of the color came off during this cleaning with floor machine and black pad) More $ later... 3 thin coats of Thin Finish, 6 oz. DB in center, 6 oz. Chocolate on border. Everybody's happy!
