overlaymichigan.com is being transferred to godaddy....someone in our marketing dept likes their ads.

Man I went to Godaddy and there are so many things they can't seem to do without charging me extra.... You have to do the paysite or they run ads for your competitors at the top of your page hehe. Pretty sneaky way of forcing you onto pay route.

On the sample with the blue, red, orange and black curved pattern :
1-Was that slab overlayed with TF? 2-How was the dye applied to avoid bleeding on each color? 3-How was that white separation made? I already know the way to separate colors (with TF, Acid stain or colored sealer) but the dyes are more penetrant... Thanks Simon www.artsurbeton.com |

1- Thin finish and micro finish (sanded), both uncolored
2- Scored a 1/4" deep line with a 1/8" keyway blade into the cement along the line, then sponged brushed two coats of dye at 1:1 reducer:dye ratio, let dry in between coats. 3- Sealed, then grouted scored line with uncolored Thin Finish, then sealed again. |

GoDaddy is reasonable for their rates. I've had my site there for 3 years. Website hosting - unlimited pages, Website Tonight, Traffic Facts and Premium Email for less than $600 a year.....never any problems or down time.

As I recall, it was uncolored or very lightly colored material, acid stained with chemstone red @ 2:1 - one application, neutralized after 100% evaporation. We
get a lot of requests for this "rustic reddish brown" color - acid stain will do it and would recommend that for exteriors. For interiors, a
combination HS saddle back brown / choc brown / burnt umber - just mix until you get the right shade for you - no neutralizing and rinsing with the HS.
