For grout color, 2 oz palomino, 1/3 oz charcoal. US 3:1 desert beige and brick for the final colors to compliment the house and surrounding hardscape.
I had only done this type of TD texture before on a sample board, but wanted to see how practical it was on a job. It was slow, took about 4 hours to trowel the patio out, but was worth it. Secret is to trowel down, wait for TF to set up near dry, and then get out on kneeboard and burnish the heck out of it.
The canopy was set up to prevent mulberries from dropping onto crete during job. They can leave a pretty tenacious stain.
Customer pleased and adoring, as was I.
