Here's another small patio....prettier than ecom's.
Painted surface...had to grind off
Had a couple cracks...is this enough sand to be considered rejection?
Finished.....customer picked the pattern. Yes, there is an actual pattern in there somewhere.
Had a 6" border...pattern was based on 8" measurements, so squares are 8x8, 8x16, 16x16, and 16x24. Should have bumped it up to 10" increments...turned out to be a bit of scribing.
Favorite square right here...this was a "double strike" trowel down. Trowel out material randomly, let dry some, throw out some more wet material, wet trowel down and trowel hard over surface.
More texture shots. Texture came out great, but it takes a little more time to put down....easily twice as long as a "slop trowel"
