By Maday Construction, Saginaw MI. About 17K sqft. Thin Finish & ultrastone sealed with satin aus & pt1 on the vertical edges next to the "river". Also note the circular colums (cobblestone stencil) and vertical walls. Very nice work.

Are you putting AUS on top of PT1???
How is this holding up to that kind of water submersion? Looks great. |

When you're applying the choc\charcoal ultrastone...is that a mixture or are you doing it seperately? At what ratio? When spraying down the Ultrastone colors, are you randomly spraying certain areas to create the antique look or are you spraying it down to cover it all and letting it do its thing. It looks awesome... that is taped out instead of carved isn't it?

Re: water park | #8 | ||

no aus over pt-1. aus on the floor, walls, and columuns & pt1 on the narrow verticals at the water's edge only.
stain was applied stategically, not all over. choc/charcoal was blended. yes, tape pattern. |

Can you let us know how the sealer held up through the season? We are looking a car wash project and wondering if we should use the same sealer.

It's held up great. It's not even been a year though. Ask me again in a couple of years.

Joe and Pat Maday of Maday Construction, Saginaw MI installed that job without any on-site help from me. I did help break in the joint with my wife and 3 kiddos when they had a "contractor only" outing prior to the grand opening.... that was my QC/QA contribution. One of Pat's guys couldn't go, so I had to tell them I was Larry Somebody for a day.
Pat and Joe are mainly stamped concrete contractors, they have a pretty large stamping & flat work operation. They had installed some overlays using other manufacturers products, so they had some ability before they came to an EC seminar. They, like so many others that have experience with other systems, raved about EC's relative workability, cost, & performance ....and of course the tech support isn't bad either. |

Ray:
Did you do the Game Works that's in the brochure? My daughters boyfriend was the project manager for that job in Michigan. He now has the contract for other Game Works and will be specifying ECS. John |
