Posts: 15 03/30/09 03:41 PM	Tags : None I saw an episode of "Rock Solid" where the two assholes did an overlay on a front porch. Can any-one tell the type/make of hand grinder they used? Looked like a 7" hand grinder w/ vac attachment.

They seem to have the best start up kit available. Their dust shrouds are the absolutely best on the market for longevity. Their vacs are OK for the price and I can't seem to find better for the buck. ANY cheaper priced vac will cost you in time switching bags and cleaning. It is the nature of the beast. You have to understand that concrete dust is a very small particulate and clogs filters quickly. Posts: 87 03/30/09 07:23 PM	FWIW, I bought the metabo from joe due and use a 6.5 hp shopvac with a hepa filter and drywall bag. For no more than I grind at a time it is working for me.

I had a long talk with one of the midwest distributors that came to my class. He was only interested in getting his driveway done which one of my retrains snatched up pretty quickly. Pricing was high, even with the discounts he was offering. Yes, Hilti is a good product. gene ec-Indy

There is also a video of the Art Sander in action http://www.innovatechproducts.com/pages/products/other-equipment/art-sander.php If this grinder would do the job, it would be less expensive than a complete system.
