Well after some painful xylene, I'm clean. Now I do want to say I didn't put much think in combining colors. I will say if you are into replicating acid stains, you have mucho tools. If you are into vivid colors, same goes. Here are the colors.


Left to right. Cairo, Ec blue, Rialto, Moss, Copper, Gunmetal, Blush


For some dumb azz reason I missed a close up of Cairo

I put these on a single board. Just white Thin Finish. I loaded them up enough not to see the mixing stick when I pulled it out. I didn't measure amounts... I just wanted to see the colors. Of course pics don't tell the story.... as allways. We do have some cool tools to play with. We don't need the Hydra Stone dyes to produce some cool colors anymore.....

This was the extra I had from my test board. Just willy nilly applied on a hardy board with no overlay.



Now that I have the colors in front of me, I'll produce some combos that go well with each other.
Gunmetal: Very cool and dark
Moss: this is going to be a fun color to work with, shadows a greenish color
Riolto: A different blueish color
Copper: Wow, this stuff is rich and bright
EC blue: the deepish blue I've seen yet
Cairo: A very calm light gold
Blush: This is like the crayon skin color

Well theres no bragging rights to my sample boards. I just wanted to see the colors applied. I have 2 clients for a couple of applicators coming in today to see these colors and I had to throw something together for them. I'm going to play with these some more and come up with some nice combos. gene ec-Indy

It is a brownish tan color with strong green highlights.
